Product Overview
The Biamp Desono DX-IC6 is a high-efficiency 6.5-inch coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker with an HF compression driver, sold as a pair in white. It provides high-quality paging and musical performance for applications where sonic quality is essential, installs quickly, and delivers exceptionally uniform coverage. A built-in autoformer supports 8-ohm or 70V/100V operation.
Product Description
Uniform voicing across the Desono DX product family makes the DX-IC6 an easy match to other models in the series. Its genuine coaxial design uses separate magnets for the LF and HF drivers, yielding reduced distortion and industry-leading sensitivity that permits 3 dB to 6 dB greater output while requiring half the amplification power of competing products. The DX-IC6 is particularly effective when supported by the DX-IC10SUB. Fast installation is supported by SpringLock™ mounting clamps and an edgeless magnetic grille. Conduit knock-outs on the input cover meet plenum air space handling requirements. Sold as a pair in white.
