The Biamp Desono DX-IC4 is the smallest member of the Desono DX ceiling loudspeaker family, a 4.5-inch coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker sold as a pair with an HF compression driver. It carries the advanced features of its larger siblings with performance that belies its size. It installs quickly and provides uniform coverage, operating at 8 ohm or on 70 V/100 V systems.

Suitable for paging, background music, or augmenting larger systems, the DX-IC4 is a versatile performer. Uniform voicing among the Desono DX family makes it an easy match to other models in the series. Its genuine coaxial design uses separate magnets for the LF and HF drivers, reducing distortion and delivering industry-leading sensitivity that permits 3 dB to 6 dB greater output while requiring half the amplification power of competing products. An attractive edgeless magnetic grille design and SpringLock mounting clamps simplify installation, and conduit knock-outs meet plenum air-handling requirements. The DX-IC4 is ETL listed to UL1480, UL2043, and CSA62368-1.
