Product Overview
The Biamp Desono DS5 is a 5-inch, full-range, two-way coaxial surface mount loudspeaker sold as a pair in black. Low-profile and compact with dynamic sound quality and excellent intelligibility, it is ideal for installations where space is at a premium and easily outperforms loudspeakers of a larger format. A built-in autoformer supports 8-ohm or 70V/100V operation, and the included Infin-A-Ball™ bracket allows precise aiming.
Product Description
The DS5 delivers high power handling, high sensitivity and exceptional speech clarity for both music and speech applications. A front-accessible power tap switch, hidden behind the rotatable logo, selects 8 ohm or 70V/100V. The cabinet uses thick-wall, internally reinforced high-impact ABS with rounded surfaces to reduce resonances, and the exterior is paintable with a dual-layer powder-coated grille and stainless steel hardware. The included Infin-A-Ball multi-angle wall mounting bracket provides low-profile mounting and precise positioning over a broad tilt-swivel range, with concealed wiring routed through the bracket arm. The DS5 is IP55 rated (IP56 connector cover). Sold as a pair in black.
