Product Overview
The Biamp Desono DP8 is a high-performance 8-inch coaxial pendant loudspeaker designed for open-architecture spaces or any location where a pendant form factor is desired. It offers high power handling, high sensitivity, and realistic sound reproduction. The DP8 shares components and voicing with the C and D SERIES ceiling and surface-mount loudspeakers. It supports 8 ohm or 70 V/100 V operation.
Product Description
The DP8 is the more focused counterpart to the DP6 and can be used in a wide variety of speech and music applications. Its genuine coaxial design uses separate magnets for the LF and HF drivers to reduce distortion and deliver high sensitivity. Uniform voicing lets the DP8 be combined with other ceiling and surface-mount models in the C or D SERIES without compromising consistency from zone to zone. An easy-access selector switch on the face sets 8 ohm or 70 V/100 V operation, and an integrated rear cover hides all wiring and hanging hardware. Two PHK-15 pendant hang kits are included for suspension and safety. The Community ALC404D amplified loudspeaker controller is recommended. Backed by Biamp's five-year warranty.
