Product Overview
The Biamp Desono DP6 is a high-performance 6.5-inch coaxial pendant loudspeaker in white, designed for open-architecture spaces or any location where a stylish pendant form factor is desired. Featuring high power handling, high sensitivity and realistic sound reproduction, it is suited to a wide variety of speech and music applications. A built-in autoformer supports low-impedance or 70V/100V operation.
Product Description
The DP6 uses the same components and voicing as the Distributed Design ceiling and surface mount family, so it can be combined with other C or D SERIES models without compromising zone-to-zone consistency. The genuine coaxial design uses separate magnets for the LF and HF drivers for reduced distortion and high sensitivity, permitting 3 dB to 6 dB greater output while requiring half the amplification power of competing products. An easy-access selector switch on the loudspeaker face sets 8 ohm or 70V/100V operation, and an integrated rear cover hides all wiring and hanging hardware. Two PHK-15 pendant hang kits are supplied, one for main suspension and one as a safety cable. Finished in white.
