Product Overview
The Biamp Desono D6 is a high-performance 6.5-inch true coaxial ceiling loudspeaker sold as a pair in black. It offers more focused dispersion, higher sensitivity and output, and greater low-frequency extension than the smaller D SERIES models. A built-in autoformer allows use in 8-ohm or 70V/100V applications, and each unit includes everything needed for standard installations.
Product Description
The D6 is a true coaxial loudspeaker with a real compression driver concentrically arranged so the upper frequencies emerge through the center of the low-frequency driver via a precisely tapered Tru-Phase™ high-frequency waveguide, providing consistent, wide dispersion up to 16 kHz. The D SERIES uses powerful magnetic structures and efficient coils for high output and more amplifier headroom. Installation aids include spring-loaded Drop-Stop™ tabs, tile support bridge rails and a snap-on C-ring to prevent sag, plus Twist-Assist™ face retainer tabs. A front-face selector switch sets 8 ohm or 70V/100V operation. The D6 is ETL listed and tested to comply with UL1480, UL2043 and CSA60065. Sold as a pair in black.
