Product Overview
The Biamp Desono D4LP is the D4 coaxial design in a low-profile back can for use when above-ceiling clearance is minimal, sold as a pair. It is a true coaxial design with an HF compression driver arranged concentrically within the low-frequency driver and a Tru-Phase high-frequency waveguide for consistent dispersion up to 16 kHz. It supports 8 ohm or 70 V/100 V operation.
Product Description
The D4LP delivers the wider dispersion of the D4 in a shallow enclosure only 3.6 inches deep. Powerful magnetic structures and efficient coils ensure high output and added headroom per power amplifier. Each unit includes the hardware needed for standard installations, including a C-ring supporting plate, tile support bridge rails, grille, paint mask, and cut-out template. Drop-Stop installation-assistant tabs and Twist-Assist face retainer tabs simplify the install. The D4LP is ETL listed to UL1480, UL2043, and CSA60065 and is suitable for air-handling spaces. The Community ALC404D amplified loudspeaker controller is recommended. Backed by Biamp's five-year warranty.
