The Cambridge Sound SQT-E (part number 911.0863.900) is an expansion speaker for the Sonet Qt personal sound masking system. Sonet Qt applies the same masking technology used in QtPro systems to an individual's personal workspace. Expansion speakers extend an existing Sonet Qt system's coverage to additional positions.
Product Description
Sonet Qt is built for reducing conversational distraction in a single person's space, such as a private office, reception desk, or HR area, without installing a building-wide masking system. The SQT-E expansion speaker adds coverage points to a Sonet Qt base system, letting one system mask a slightly larger footprint or multiple adjacent positions. Because Sonet Qt shares its masking approach with the larger QtPro platform, the spectrum it produces follows the same speech-masking principles deployed in full commercial systems. The format gives individuals and small offices flexibility and portability, installing masking when and where it is needed. Adding expansion speakers is the incremental path when one emitter position is not enough for the space.
