Product Description
The W2-218T is a compact two-way full-range system featuring an 8-inch carbon-fiber LF driver and a 1-inch HF compression driver with a weather-resistant, non-metallic polyimide diaphragm. Ferrofluid-cooled drivers improve heat transfer for higher power handling and reduced distortion, and a built-in 100W autoformer provides selectable 70V and 100V taps. The enclosure and faceplate are multi-layer glass composite for extreme structural strength, a three-layer Weather-Stop grille protects the internal components, and all exposed hardware is stainless steel or powder-coated aluminum. A weather-resistant stainless steel mounting yoke is included, the finish is white, and it is backed by a five-year product warranty plus a fifteen-year enclosure warranty.
