The Biamp Community V2-8T is a two-way, full-range loudspeaker system with a built-in autoformer for 70V/100V applications, finished in White. It is suitable for a wide variety of fixed installations and is compact yet powerful, making it ideal for distributed systems such as cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, and airports. The V2-8T is also an excellent choice for ancillary delay applications. It can be mounted to a wall or ceiling using the included yoke bracket or suspended from its M6 rigging points.
Product Description
The V2-8T pairs an 8-inch LF cone with a 1-inch HF driver in a trapezoidal, vented-bass enclosure with a user-rotatable constant-directivity square horn, allowing optimal dispersion in vertical or horizontal mounting. DYNA-TECH driver protection circuitry, a ferrofluid-treated HF driver, and Carbon Ring Cone Technology contribute to reliable, high-fidelity output. The 70V/100V autoformer model supports constant-voltage distributed systems. When used to augment a front-of-house system in venues such as auditoriums, theaters, and houses of worship, delay loudspeakers help even out the difference in sound pressure level across the room. Inputs use an NL4-compatible locking connector with a parallel terminal strip.
