Product Overview
The Biamp Community V2-8 is a two-way, full-range loudspeaker system finished in Black, suitable for a wide variety of fixed installations. Compact but powerful, it is ideal for distributed systems such as cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, and airports, and it is an excellent choice for ancillary delay applications. The V2-8 can be wall- or ceiling-mounted with its included yoke bracket or suspended from its M6 threaded rigging points.
Product Description
The V2-8 pairs an 8-inch LF cone with a 1-inch HF driver in a trapezoidal, vented-bass birch enclosure with a constant-directivity rotatable square horn. DYNA-TECH driver protection circuitry, a ferrofluid-treated HF driver, and Carbon Ring Cone Technology support reliable, high-fidelity reproduction. When used to augment a front-of-house system in auditoriums, theaters, and houses of worship, delay loudspeakers help even out sound pressure level from the front to the rear of the room. An optional V2-8T model with a built-in 100W autoformer is also available for 70V/100V applications. Inputs use an NL4-compatible locking connector with a parallel terminal strip.
