Product Overview
The Biamp Community V2-28T is a two-way, full-range dual 8-inch loudspeaker system with a built-in 200W transformer for 70V/100V applications. With powerful dual cone drivers and a 90° x 70° pattern, it suits distributed systems and ancillary delay applications. This makes it a strong fit as a 70V/100V install loudspeaker, a delay-fill loudspeaker, and a dual-driver full-range speaker. The enclosure is available in white finish.
Product Description
The V2-28T provides additional low frequency and mid-range output over its sister product, the V2-8, and when paired with a subwoofer it produces high-fidelity, broad-spectrum sound. It is an excellent choice for ancillary delay applications: when augmenting a front-of-house system in auditoriums, theaters, and houses of worship, delay loudspeakers even out sound pressure level from front to rear. Units may be positioned for under-balcony fill, over-balcony fill, or toward the rear of seating areas, giving the system designer greater control over relative levels and tonal response. The V2-28T mounts to a wall or ceiling using its included yoke bracket, may be suspended from its M6 threaded rigging points, or installed with a third-party device, and includes a rotatable horn that allows optimal dispersion in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Its built-in 200W autoformer features taps at 200W, 100W, 50W, and 25W. DYNA-TECH driver protection circuitry and a ferrofluid-treated HF driver round out the design.
