The Biamp Community V2-1596 is a two-way, full-range 15-inch loudspeaker system for a wide range of fixed installations. With a 90° x 60° coverage pattern and trapezoidal enclosure, it suits contemporary worship, music and dance clubs, and theatrical sound reinforcement. This makes it a strong choice as a full-range install loudspeaker, a wide-coverage sound reinforcement speaker, and a clusterable array loudspeaker. The enclosure is available in white finish.
Product Description
The V2-1596 delivers a clear, low-distortion sonic quality with authoritative bass and precise pattern control. Its trapezoidal design allows clustering with like units to form powerful arrays, and the 90° x 60° pattern serves rooms that are wider than they are deep. The enclosure may be suspended from its M10 threaded rigging points using optional Community hardware, or installed with a third-party mounting device. Carefully designed crossovers provide flat acoustic power response through the critical mid-range region, and Community's exclusive DYNA-TECH driver protection circuitry guards against abusive operating conditions. A ferrofluid-treated HF driver improves heat dissipation, and Carbon Ring Cone Technology provides 30% more piston area with increased excursion capability in the LF driver. Connection is made via an NL4-compatible locking connector with a terminal strip in parallel.
