Product Overview
The Biamp Community V2-1296 is a compact two-way, full-range 12-inch loudspeaker system for a wide spectrum of fixed installations. With a 90° x 60° coverage pattern and trapezoidal enclosure, it handles applications from jazz clubs and AV presentations to live performance. It works well as a full-range install loudspeaker, a wide-coverage reinforcement speaker, and a clusterable array loudspeaker. The enclosure is available in white finish.
Product Description
The V2-1296 provides extended high frequency response, low distortion output, tight punchy bass, and precise pattern control. Its trapezoidal design allows clustering with like units to form powerful arrays, and the 90° x 60° pattern is ideal for rooms wider than they are deep. The enclosure may be suspended from its M10 threaded rigging points using optional Community hardware, or installed with a third-party mounting device. Carefully designed crossovers provide flat acoustic power response through the critical mid-range region, and Community's exclusive DYNA-TECH driver protection circuitry guards the system. A ferrofluid-treated HF driver improves heat dissipation, and Carbon Ring Cone Technology provides 30% more piston area with increased excursion capability. Connection is made via an NL4-compatible locking connector with a terminal strip in parallel.
