The Biamp Community R2-77Z is a weather-resistant 3-way horn-loaded dual 12-inch full-range installation loudspeaker for long-throw sound reinforcement. Engineered for high-fidelity music and intelligible speech in outdoor and indoor venues, this passive install loudspeaker provides 60 x 60 coverage. It is well suited to stadiums, houses of worship, and large multi-purpose venues that need durable, high-efficiency long-throw projection.
Product Description
The R2-77Z full-range loudspeaker system is engineered for quality long-throw projection in outdoor and indoor applications. Its wide, smooth frequency response and high efficiency support high-fidelity music reproduction and clear, intelligible speech at very low distortion. The R2-77Z is an all-horn-loaded triaxial design using precision Community waveguides of hand-laminated fiberglass. The outer enclosure forms a double-wall construction with the internal bass horn, providing a fully weather-sealed chamber for the LF drivers, while the mid/high-frequency horn assembly is mounted in the mouth of the bass horn. A high-quality passive crossover with DYNA-TECH dynamic driver protection is included, along with a weather-resistant mounting yoke. The result is a strong, non-resonant, weather-resistant loudspeaker that is easy to install and aim.
