The Biamp Community R1-64Z-EN is an EN 54-24 certified, large-format 12-inch 2-way horn-loaded coaxial loudspeaker. It offers very high sensitivity with low-frequency directivity control to 400 Hz, delivering strong projection and intelligibility. It is engineered for highly reverberant indoor sports venues and small-to-mid-sized outdoor stadiums, as well as houses of worship and large commercial spaces. Its weather-sealed, all-horn-loaded design suits demanding indoor and outdoor installations.
Product Description
The EN 54-24 certified R1-EN offers very high sensitivity with LF directivity control to 400 Hz; its large, deep LF horn and large-diaphragm 1-inch exit HF driver provide exceptional HF extension and LF output. The R1-64Z-EN two-way full-range loudspeaker system is engineered for quality full-range sound projection in outdoor and indoor applications, with wide range, smooth frequency response and high efficiency for high-fidelity music and clear, intelligible speech at very low distortion. It is an all horn-loaded coaxial design using precision Community fiberglass waveguides; the outer enclosure forms a double-wall construction with the internal bass horn, providing a completely weather-sealed chamber for the LF drivers. The high-frequency horn assembly is mounted in the mouth of the bass horn, and a high-quality passive crossover with dynamic driver protection is included. The result is a loudspeaker that is strong, non-resonant, weather-resistant and easy to install.
