The Biamp Community R.5-V2200 is a dual-driver, horn-loaded, weather-resistant loudspeaker system for high-level voice paging and signaling. As a high-output, long-throw horn system for industrial paging and large public gatherings, it delivers focused voice projection in harsh outdoor and multi-purpose environments.
Product Description
Designed for voice-range sound reinforcement and announcement or signaling applications, the R.5-V2200 is a complete horn/driver system that provides focused, very high output sound projection with predictable performance and long-term durability. The horn is a patented, hand-crafted one-piece FocusedArray waveguide, precision-molded in hand-laminated reinforced fiberglass and enclosed in a rotomolded polyethylene enclosure that provides weather and UV resistance with a Weather-Stop grille. The compression drivers are high-output, high-sensitivity units configured with the diaphragm facing forward, isolating the voice coil and magnetic structure from the environment, and the one-piece non-metallic diaphragm resists humidity, dust, and corrosive atmospheres. A fiberglass rear cover protects the drivers, and an SSYR5 yoke bracket is included.
