Product Overview
The Biamp Community R.35COAX is a two-way, full-range coaxial loudspeaker finished in grey, designed for applications requiring extreme weather resistance. It uses a 10-inch LF driver coaxially mounted with a 1.25-inch exit HF compression driver for 90-degree conical coverage with low distortion. A built-in 200W autoformer allows selectable 8-ohm or 70V/100V operation. It is ideal for high-quality voice and music reproduction in demanding indoor or outdoor venues.
Product Description
The R.35COAX is engineered to withstand long-term exposure to tough environmental conditions while providing performance normally associated only with indoor loudspeakers. The HF assembly is coaxially mounted with the LF driver, and the carbon ring cone design provides a cone area nearly equivalent to a typical 12-inch driver. A Music/Voice switch offers a selectable flat response or a 3 dB boost for increased vocal intelligibility. Community's Tru-Phase phase plug provides wide dispersion and low distortion, while the hydrophobically treated grille and LF driver cone provide full weather resistance. The reinforced enclosure reduces resonance and rear radiation, and the unit is supplied in grey.
