Product Overview
The Biamp Community R.25-94Z is a compact 8-inch, two-way full-range loudspeaker finished in grey, designed for applications requiring extreme weather resistance. It combines wide frequency response with high efficiency and projection in a small footprint. The HF compression driver is coaxially mounted with the LF driver and coupled to a nominal 90-degree by 40-degree horn. It is ideal for demanding outdoor and high-ambient-noise venues.
Product Description
The R.25-94Z is built to withstand long-term exposure to tough environmental conditions while delivering performance normally associated only with indoor loudspeakers. It uses an 8-inch cone LF driver and a 3/4-inch exit HF compression driver with weather-resistant diaphragms, coaxially arranged to minimize interference at crossover. Its high efficiency, modest power requirements, and 8-ohm impedance make it easy to deploy large numbers of loudspeakers on a single amplifier, keeping overall system cost low. The weather-resistant rotomolded UV enclosure includes integral mounting points and a corrosion-resistant steel yoke and aluminum grille. A 70V/100V autoformer version, the R.25-94TZ, is also available.
