The Biamp Community MX8-B is a stylish, low-profile 8-inch coaxial floor monitor finished in black. It uses proprietary coaxial drivers to provide true point-source acoustical output for stage monitoring. Its conical waveguide design produces smooth phase and frequency response while reducing feedback and improving intelligibility. It is intended for live stage, performance, and presentation environments.
Product Description
The MX8-B places all sound at a single point source through its coaxial design, with conical waveguides that eliminate the transition anomalies common in square and rectangular horns. High sensitivity permits the use of smaller power amplifiers to reach high output levels, and precision-engineered internal crossovers eliminate the need for biamplification, reducing overall system cost. The Tru-Phase high-frequency waveguide provides precise pattern control to avoid acoustic hot-spots on stage. A single rear Ergo-Grip handle aids portability, and an optional yoke mounting bracket is available separately. It is offered in a black finish.
