Product Overview
The Community IS8-212WR is a weather-resistant I Series Subwoofer 800 passive subwoofer for high-output, low-frequency reinforcement indoors or out. It is built for houses of worship, auditoriums, arenas, and themed entertainment requiring deep, clean bass in demanding environments. Weather-resistant PolyGlas construction supports long-term outdoor exposure.
Product Description
This compact, direct-radiating subwoofer uses large, balanced ports that optimize enclosure tuning and even air pressure distribution to the driver cone, reducing distortion and extending system longevity. Drivers load into individual air volumes within the enclosure, isolating their performance and allowing directional subwoofer techniques such as steered end-fire and cardioid patterns within a single enclosure. High-flux linear neodymium motors with demodulation rings provide very low distortion, and the matched-size enclosure with aligned suspension points integrates into flown arrays with I Series full-range models. The PolyGlas cabinet, marine-grade aluminum grille, and water-repellent fabric backing are built for outdoor durability.
