The Community IS8-118WR is a high-power 18-inch weather-resistant installation subwoofer for deep low-frequency reinforcement in outdoor and exposed venues such as houses of worship and auditoriums. As part of the I Series Subwoofer 800 line it provides exceptionally deep bass from a compact enclosure.
Product Description
The IS8-118WR is a compact, direct-radiating subwoofer with large, balanced ports that provide optimal enclosure tuning and even air pressure distribution to the driver cones, reducing distortion and extending system longevity. FEA-optimized linear suspensions and high-flux neodymium motors with long linear excursion provide exceptionally deep bass for the enclosure's size. I Series Subwoofer 800 loudspeakers provide acoustic performance, modular flexibility and elegant aesthetics for modern performance venues, and the compact low-profile design is ideal for distributed or concealed sub-bass and ground-stack applications. Each cabinet was designed to provide matching face widths and suspension point locations for integration into flown arrays with I Series full-range models where additional LF extension is needed but a compact appearance is required.
