The Biamp Community IS8-118 is a high power 18-inch passive installation subwoofer from the I SERIES Subwoofer 800 line, finished in Black. Rated at 1600W continuous into 8 ohms, it delivers extended, low-distortion low-frequency reinforcement for demanding fixed-install systems. It is well suited to houses of worship, auditoriums and large commercial meeting spaces requiring deep sub-bass. The compact, direct-radiating design integrates cleanly into ground-stack and flown configurations.

I SERIES Subwoofer 800 loudspeakers provide acoustic performance, modular flexibility and refined aesthetics for modern performance venues, with a range of sizes matched to the needs of any venue. The compact, low-profile single-driver design is ideal for distributed or concealed sub-bass and is a strong choice for ground-stack applications. Each cabinet uses matching face widths and aligned suspension points for integration into flown arrays with I SERIES full-range models when additional LF extension is needed in a compact appearance. Large, balanced ports provide optimal enclosure tuning and even air-pressure distribution to the driver cones, reducing distortion and extending system longevity. FEA-optimized linear suspensions and a high-flux neodymium motor with long linear excursion provide exceptionally deep bass for the enclosure size.
