The Community IS6-218WR is a weather-resistant I Series Subwoofer 600 dual 18-inch passive subwoofer for extended low-frequency reinforcement indoors or out. It is built for houses of worship, auditoriums, stadiums, and corporate A/V systems needing deep bass, and is IP56-rated for a lifetime of outdoor performance. PolyGlas construction resists moisture and temperature cycling.
Product Description
The IS6-218WR is a direct-radiating subwoofer with large, balanced ports that optimize enclosure tuning and even air pressure distribution to the driver cones, reducing distortion and extending system longevity. Long-excursion ferrite LF drivers with FEA-optimized motors and symmetric suspension deliver high sensitivity that minimizes power compression and required amplifier size. Drivers load into individual air volumes, allowing directional subwoofer techniques within a single enclosure, and the matched-size cabinet with aligned suspension points integrates into flown arrays with I Series full-range models. The IP56-rated PolyGlas enclosure with marine-grade aluminum grille is built for continuous outdoor use.
