The Biamp Community IS6-215 is a medium power dual 15-inch passive installation subwoofer from the I SERIES Subwoofer 600 line, finished in Black. Rated at 1400W continuous into 4 ohms, it provides extended low-frequency reinforcement for fixed-install systems. It is well suited to houses of worship, auditoriums and large commercial meeting spaces. Isolated driver air volumes also enable directional sub-bass techniques within a single enclosure.
Product Description
I SERIES Subwoofer 600 loudspeakers provide acoustic performance, modular flexibility and refined aesthetics for contemporary performance venues. Each cabinet uses matching heights, face widths and suspension point locations for seamless integration into flown arrays with I SERIES full-range models. The compact, direct-radiating design uses large, balanced ports that provide optimal enclosure tuning and even air-pressure distribution to the driver cones, reducing distortion and extending system longevity. Drivers are loaded into individual air volumes within the enclosure, isolating their performance from one another. This arrangement adds driver protection and allows directional subwoofer techniques such as steered end-fire and cardioid patterns within a single enclosure.
