The Community IP8-1153 is a high-power 15-inch 3-way installation loudspeaker with a 60° x 40° dispersion pattern and rotatable waveguide, built for long-throw, full-range sound reinforcement in houses of worship, auditoriums and large multi-purpose venues. As part of the I Series Point Source 800 line it delivers high intelligibility for main and distributed AV systems.
Product Description
This IP8-1153 (Black) is part of Community's I Series Point Source 800 loudspeakers, providing acoustic performance, modular flexibility and elegant aesthetics for modern performance venues. FEA-optimized linear suspensions, high-flux neodymium motors and integral demodulation rings ensure precise transducer motion control and very low distortion at high SPL levels. The custom long-excursion LF driver delivers deep bass and balanced mid-range, while matched MF and HF compression-driver diaphragms provide natural, transparent sound with strong intelligibility and accurate transient response. The rotatable 18-inch MF/HF waveguide gives well-defined 60° x 40° coverage and a smooth off-axis response, and an acoustic 8th-order MF/HF passive crossover delivers consistent vertical response. User-selectable biamp or triamp operating modes further expand performance.
