Product Description
The IC6-2082WT96 is a two-way, full-range design using two 8-inch ferrite LF drivers with inherently weather-resistant cones and a 1-inch exit ketone-polymer-diaphragm neodymium HF compression driver, with an acoustical crossover at 1100 Hz. A high-quality 1.7-inch diaphragm HF driver mounted on a large field-rotatable horn is crossed over to partially baffled LF drivers at an unusually low frequency, so the speaker performs much like a coaxial design for consistent, symmetrical, wide coverage. A high-performance 200W autoformer supports 70V/100V distributed systems with selectable taps. The modified-trapezoidal enclosure is a dense structural-grade composite embedded with dual layers of fiberglass cloth, finished with heavy exterior-grade paint and a UV-resistant top coat, and fitted with a powder-coated marine-grade aluminum grille over hydrophobic-treated acoustically transparent fabric. It carries an IP55W rating per IEC 60529.
