The IC6-2082/26 solves the coverage inconsistencies common to symmetrical dual 8-inch designs by using a low-distortion 1.7-inch diaphragm neodymium HF compression driver on a large field-rotatable horn crossed over to partially baffled 8-inch LF drivers at an unusually low frequency. The result is symmetrical, wide, coaxial-like coverage through the operating range, while long-excursion woofers and a low-velocity port extend low-frequency output at any level. Multiple attachment points provide compatibility with Community and third-party brackets, and the model is offered in 16 ohm or 70V/100V versions.
