Product Overview
The Cambridge Sound DRB-1 KIT (part number 911.0875.900) is a metal drywall rough-in bracket packaged with a plastic drywall mount for Qt emitters. It reserves the emitter location and cable opening before the drywall ceiling is hung. Slats let the bracket fold to fit between joists, and pre-drilled holes accept nails or screws. Product Description
In drywall ceiling construction, emitter positions must be established during rough-in so cable openings line up with the finished layout. The DRB-1 metal bracket gives installers a fixture to mark and preserve each Qt emitter location before the ceiling closes up, ensuring holes are left for cables and emitters. Slats along the bracket make it easy to fold and fit into joist bays, and included holes allow it to be nailed or screwed into place quickly. Tabs fold up to retain the emitter once the device is set. This KIT version adds the plastic drywall mount, giving the trim-out crew the finish hardware in the same package as the rough-in bracket.
