Product Description
The DS1357B uses a compact enclosure fitted with a convoluted, flame-retardant acoustical insert that reduces standing waves and metallic resonance. That internal treatment supports consistent output across the broadband content typical of masking systems while remaining capable for voice paging and background music. The 8-ohm load makes it a direct match for Dynasound DS8000 network sound masking processors, where channel-level DSP replaces transformer taps. Suspended installations present a clean appearance with no exposed controls or wiring visible from below, which suits exposed-structure offices as well as concealed plenum work. ETL listing to UL 1480A and UL 2043 addresses plenum air-handling requirements found in commercial specs.
