The IC6-2082T96 solves the coverage inconsistencies common to symmetrical dual 8-inch two-way loudspeakers by combining a low-distortion 1.7-inch neodymium HF compression driver on a large, field-rotatable horn with partially baffled 8-inch LF drivers crossed over at an unusually low frequency. The result is a symmetrical, wide coverage pattern that performs similarly to a coaxial loudspeaker across its operating range. This transformer model provides 70V and 100V autoformer taps, so integrators can set the power draw per unit on a constant-voltage distributed loudspeaker line, while a 16-ohm low-impedance option exists on companion models for point-source use.
