Product Description
The Biamp CMX20T ceiling loudspeaker uses an 8-inch reinforced polypropylene woofer and a 1-inch tweeter to reproduce microphone paging and background music at a higher volume level than smaller ceiling speakers. In 16-ohm use, up to four loudspeakers can be connected in parallel on each channel of a standard 4-ohm amplifier. For 70V/100V distributed audio, the CMX20T carries a 20-watt transformer with multiple power taps, so installers can balance output across a large zone. The ABS housing, moisture-proof polypropylene woofer, and aluminum grille make the CMX20T appropriate for high-humidity environments and applications where steel grilles would corrode. A three-screw mounting system with a Quick Fix wiring connector and tapping decal speeds installation, and the screws sit hidden behind the grille for a clean appearance.
