The TesiraLUX IDH-1 functions as a server-class encoder in a Tesira media system, pairing with a TesiraLUX decoder to distribute high-resolution video over an AVB/TSN network. It accepts sources up to 4K60 with 4:4:4 subsampling on one HDMI port and one DisplayPort 1.2 port, and supports a flexible color space up to Rec. 2020 for detail-critical content. AVB/TSN media can run over 1Gb or 10Gb ports while control travels on a separate 1Gb Ethernet connection, and the encoder supports a virtual matrix of up to 128 devices for large routed systems. Multiple software-based bandwidth options let designers set maximum resolution, minimum frame rate, or a compression rate, and visually lossless M-JPEG compression keeps end-to-end transit latency at 1.5 frames or less. The IDH-1 handles 8 channels of PCM audio for embedding and de-embedding and provides two mic/line-level analog inputs with 48V phantom power on removable screw-down connectors.
