The Biamp TesiraCONNECT PEX is a 50 ft (15 m) power extension cable for TesiraFORTÉ X and TesiraCONNECT devices. It lets integrators locate a Tesira device away from its power supply when the standard cable length will not reach in the rack or above the ceiling. This power extension cable is a supported Biamp accessory for TesiraFORTÉ X (all models) and TesiraCONNECT (all models). It solves the common install problem of a fixed device position sitting farther from an outlet or power source than the factory cable allows.
Product Description
Room layouts and rack elevations do not always place a Tesira device within reach of its power source. The TesiraCONNECT PEX adds 50 ft (15 m) of run so integrators can mount a TesiraFORTÉ X or TesiraCONNECT where the design requires — in a distant rack bay, a ceiling location, or an adjacent closet — while still drawing from the intended power source. Using the vendor extension keeps the connection within Biamp's supported power scheme rather than relying on improvised adapters, which matters for reliability and warranty during AV system integration. The cable is an install-time accessory and does not change device configuration or network topology.
