Product Description
The ACC-C-IRE extends a Biamp Impera control system to any device that is normally driven by an infrared remote. In a controlled room, integrators want the control pad or processor to turn a display on, switch inputs, or adjust a projector without a user pointing a remote across the room. The wired IR emitter makes that possible: it is placed directly in front of the target device's IR receiver, typically held with double-sided tape, and carries the control system's IR commands straight to the device. Positioning the emitter over the receiver is what ensures reliable operation, since infrared needs a clear, close path to work consistently. Keeping the emitter out of strong sunlight further improves reliability. The ACC-C-IRE gives integrators a dependable way to bring legacy and IR-only equipment under Impera control.
