The COLS41 is the smallest speech column in the COLS range, suited to zones and smaller rooms that still need the intelligibility benefits of column directivity. Its four-driver array keeps speech energy on listeners and off reflective surfaces, making it useful for paging and announcements in worship spaces, transport areas, and meeting rooms. The COLS voicing is tuned for speech, distinguishing it from the speech-and-music COLW series. The cabinet measures about 15.7 in (400 mm) tall and weighs roughly 4.4 lb (2.0 kg), and a switchable transformer provides taps from 2.5 W to 20 W for 70 V and 100 V systems with a low-impedance bypass.
