The Biamp CMBB is an on-wall back box for the Biamp CM ceiling loudspeaker range, built for commercial AV installations that need a flush-mount enclosure in a concrete or brick wall. It supports rack-mount-free ceiling speaker installation by giving in-ceiling and in-wall speaker models a dedicated backing enclosure. The CMBB is a companion accessory for the Biamp CM6T, CM6E, CM20T, and CM20DT loudspeakers.
Product Description
The CMBB is designed with a conical shape that lets it fit and stick securely into a concrete or brick wall opening, and it can also be used as a simple on-wall back box for surface applications. Installation is straightforward: the base plate mounts to the wall or ceiling first, then the back box fits onto the base plate by turning the ring counter-clockwise, after which the ring is secured with the three included screws. Once the back box is in place, the loudspeaker mounts directly into it. Integrators specifying the Biamp CM6T, CM6E, CM20T, or CM20DT for a commercial paging or background music system can use the CMBB to provide a clean, code-compliant back enclosure without a costly custom build-out.
