The Biamp D-ALINP is an active local input wall panel in Decora style that lets users connect a music source and a dynamic microphone directly at the wall. It provides individual volume control for line and mic inputs, making it a practical local input control for classrooms, meeting rooms, and multi-purpose spaces. The panel fits any standard Decora in-wall box for clean commercial AV installation. It is powered by phantom power from the connected mixing amplifier or matrix.
Product Description
The D-ALINP simplifies room use by giving presenters a plug-and-play local input at the wall instead of routing sources back to a rack. A stereo line input is summed to mono internally for music playback, while a balanced XLR microphone input handles a dynamic mic; both have their own volume controls and are automatically mixed so only one input is used at the pre-amplifier or mixing amplifier. A built-in mic pre-amplifier and high-quality input transformer help avoid ground loops for clean audio over cable runs up to 600 m. The panel operates on 24–48 V phantom power, so it works with any compatible Apart mixing amplifier, matrix, or pre-amplifier that supplies at least 24 V phantom power. Typical deployments include classrooms where each session brings a different presenter, meeting rooms with regular presentations, and multi-function rooms, bars, and banquet spaces.
