The D-DIWAC gives room occupants straightforward local control of a zoned audio system without exposing rack equipment. Configured with source-select and volume buttons, it lets users choose an audio source and set level for their room while the central matrix mixer handles routing. The two-line, 12-character LCD includes a timed white backlight so the display stays readable and then dims to remain unobtrusive. Programmable functions and hardwired addressing let integrators assign each panel to a specific zone during commissioning, which suits multi-room venues such as restaurants, retail, and hospitality where each area needs independent source and volume control. Wiring uses a Euroblock 2-pole connector with support for cable runs up to 580 m, allowing panels to be placed far from the equipment rack.
