Product Description

The D-VOL60 attenuates a 70V loudspeaker line in 11 discrete steps plus a full-off position, giving predictable, repeatable level control from a wall location. It is rated to pass up to 60 watts on a 70V distributed line, sizing it for small zones such as a single room or a group of ceiling loudspeakers. The unit connects through a 6-pole euroblock connector and accepts conductors up to 2.5 mm2, which simplifies field wiring for AV integrators. Its universal chassis mounts by screw into any Decora-style box for a flush, finished appearance.

The built-in 24V priority relay is the defining feature for paging and life-safety use. When an amplifier with a 24V priority output sends its signal, the relay closes and passes the announcement at full level even if the local control is set to off. This lets a facility guarantee that emergency and evacuation messages reach every zone regardless of local volume settings.
