The Biamp Tesira RMK-2 is a side-by-side rack mount kit that secures two half-width Tesira devices into a single rack space. It is designed for Tesira half-rack expanders and TesiraLUX endpoints, including the EX-IN, EX-IO, EX-OUT, EX-AEC, EX-LOGIC, and the TesiraLUX IDH-1 and OH-1. This rack mount kit lets integrators mount two units next to each other for an organized, serviceable rack layout. It is the standard way to rack half-rack Tesira hardware during AV system integration.
Product Description
Half-width Tesira expanders and TesiraLUX endpoints are built to pair two-across in a 19-inch rack, and the RMK-2 is the bracket kit that holds them there. Mounting two devices side by side keeps signal and network cabling tidy, uses rack space efficiently, and leaves units accessible for service. Integrators specify the RMK-2 when two compatible half-rack devices share an elevation; for a single device in a rack space, the RMK-1 single-unit kit is used instead, and for furniture or wall placement the UTMK-1 under-table mount applies. The kit supports the EX-series expanders (EX-IN, EX-IO, EX-OUT, EX-AEC, EX-LOGIC) and the TesiraLUX IDH-1 and OH-1. See a compatible expander such as the Tesira EX-OUT or the TesiraLUX IDH-1, and for non-rack placement the Tesira UTMK-1 under-table mount.
