Barco UDX-W40 Touring Kit 40,000-lumen WUXGA 3-chip DLP laser projector with motorized frame and flight case

Product Overview

The Barco UDX-W40 Touring Kit is a complete rental and staging package built around the 40,000-lumen WUXGA 3-chip DLP laser phosphor projector for large-venue events, concert touring, and live productions. This BT configuration pairs the FLEX projector body with a GSM module, Wi-Fi, a motorized frame, a flight case, a fiber input, a rigging camera, a distance meter, and an external shutter so a road crew can deploy and strike quickly. Native 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution and Barco's laser phosphor light source deliver bright, color-accurate images with a 20,000-hour light-source lifetime. The kit ships with a power cord and wireless/XLR wired rugged remote control.

Product Description

This Touring Kit is the most fully equipped UDX-W40 configuration in our Barco lineup, designed for crews that move a projector between venues and need protective transport and fast rigging built in. The motorized frame and integrated flight case shown in the product gallery let technicians stack, fly, and align units efficiently, while the fiber input supports long-distance signal runs common on large stages. The included camera and distance meter assist with placement and focus during setup, and the external shutter provides clean black transitions between cues. If you do not require the full touring package, compare the lighter UDX-W40 platform options including the COMM+LNS and COMM+FRM+FC builds. For lower-brightness needs, the 32,000-lumen UDX-W32 platform covers the same WUXGA resolution at a reduced light output. Browse the full Barco collection for lenses, frames, and accessories. All UDX-W40 units share the same FLEX2 brightness and resolution locking feature for repeatable show settings.
