This ILD optic is a motorized zoom lens covering the far end of the I600 throw range. As shown in the gallery, it uses the common ILD bayonet interface shared across the I600 lens fleet and installs in the same motorized lens mount that controls zoom, focus, lens shift and lens-memory positioning. The 4.0-7.4:1 range is intended for long projection distances where shorter lenses would oversize the image, such as a projection booth at the back of a large room. For shorter geometry on the same projectors, integrators step down to the ILD lens 2.1-4.0:1 or the mid-range ILD lens 1.0-1.4:1.
