Product Overview
The Barco FL40-4K MKII (R9009661) is a true solid-state RGB LED projector built for simulation and visualization environments that demand reliability and low maintenance. Its RGB LED illumination has no lamp to change and no color adjustments for up to 50,000 hours, which lowers total cost of ownership for simulator operators. Native WQXGA resolution scales up to 4K (3,840 x 2,400) through Barco Pulse Single Step Processing. With no moving illumination parts and a rugged magnesium-alloy baseplate, it is engineered for shock, vibration, and continuous duty.
Product Description
The FL40-4K MKII uses advanced RGB LED illumination to produce vivid, color-accurate images, while a dual iris and optical filters deliver strong contrast and deep black levels. As the product image shows, the compact magnesium-alloy chassis includes front and top mounting points so the projector can be fixed to motion platforms in any orientation. Barco Pulse SSP technology runs high-resolution images at faster frame rates with low latency, and built-in warp and blend support multi-projector visual systems.
Solid-state RGB LED makes the FL40 well suited to simulation, medical visualization, and themed installations where lamp maintenance is impractical. For higher-brightness laser-phosphor channels, integrators often pair it with the Barco F70-4K4, or use the IR-equipped Barco FS70-4K4 for NVG night-training channels.
