Product Overview
The Barco F80-4K12 (R90059521) is a 10,400 ANSI-lumen single-chip laser DLP projector body built for permanent installations and rental staging. Pixel-shift technology upscales the native 2716 x 1600 resolution to 4K UHD 3840 x 2160, delivering crisp, detailed imagery across museums, boardrooms, auditoriums, theme-park rides, and interactive experiences. A 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio keeps the image effective in most lighting conditions. This listing is the projector body only, with lenses available separately.
Product Description
The F80-4K12 uses the DMD mirrors to shift at the microsecond level, combining image processing to project multiple pixels per frame and produce a 4K UHD image from a non-UHD chip. Its output meets the Rec.709 color space for saturated color, and Barco Pulse Single Step Processing keeps images sharp with low latency. As shown in the product image and the video below, the laser-phosphor light source and cooling design enable long, lamp-free operation rated for 24/7 use, with quiet running suited to fixed installations.
Because this is a body-only configuration, you can specify GLD, FLD+ (with adapter), or FLDX (with adapter) lenses to suit the throw distance and screen size, up to roughly 65.6 ft. For higher-output large-venue rooms, step up to the Barco UDM-4K15, or compare the WQXGA Barco F80-Q12. Browse the full lineup in our Barco projector collection.
