For runs under 40 meters at 4K, both kits perform identically — the 40m version is typically lower cost and suited to shorter infrastructure.

Does ICT require special cabling?
Cat6 is recommended for ICT 18Gbps performance. Cat5e may work at shorter distances but is not guaranteed for full 4K60 4:4:4 performance at the rated maximum range.
