Product Overview
The AVPro Edge 2M IR Opto-Coupling Cable (AC-IR-OC-2M) provides 2 meters of opto-isolated IR signal transmission for AVPro Edge AV systems. Opto-coupling electrically isolates the IR signal path, preventing ground loops and interference between connected IR control components.
Product Description
The AC-IR-OC-2M uses optical coupling to pass IR control signals between AVPro Edge IR ports without a direct electrical connection between the two endpoints. This isolation eliminates common ground-loop interference that can cause unreliable IR control in complex AV systems with multiple power sources. At 2 meters, it provides enough reach to bridge IR ports across equipment mounted in the same rack or on adjacent surfaces.
