Product Overview
The AVPro Edge 1M IR Opto-Coupling Cable (AC-IR-OC-1M) provides 1 meter of opto-isolated IR signal transmission for AVPro Edge AV systems. The optical isolation prevents ground loops and electrical interference in IR control wiring between AV components sharing the same rack or installation space.
Product Description
The AC-IR-OC-1M passes IR control signals between AVPro Edge IR ports using optical coupling, which eliminates the direct electrical connection between endpoints. This prevents ground-loop-induced noise that can cause IR control misfires or missed commands in multi-device AV systems. The 1-meter length is appropriate for direct connections between equipment in the same rack or on the same AV furniture surface.
