Product Overview
The AVPro Edge 1M AOC SFP Cable is a 1-meter active optical cable that connects two SFP-equipped devices with a short, EMI-resistant optical link. Its compact length is ideal for same-shelf or within-rack connections where a DAC copper cable would be unnecessarily bulky or introduce interference. It is compatible with AVPro Edge switches and matrix equipment that use SFP ports.
Product Description
At 1 meter, this cable is purpose-built for the shortest inter-device connections — linking two switches mounted in the same rack space, connecting a switch to an adjacent patch panel, or bridging devices within a single enclosure. The active optical construction places the laser transmitter and receiver within the SFP connector housings, making separate transceiver modules unnecessary. The optical fiber core is impervious to electromagnetic interference from power supplies, motor drives, and other rack electronics. Both ends are factory-terminated for immediate deployment.
