The AVPro Edge AC-1G-SFP-RJ45 is a 1.25 Gigabit SFP to RJ45 copper transceiver module that converts standard 1G SFP ports to 1000Base-T copper Ethernet. It supports connections up to 100 meters on standard Cat5e or better cabling, providing a straightforward way to use copper infrastructure with SFP-equipped AVPro Edge switches.
Product Description
The AC-1G-SFP-RJ45 plugs into any 1G SFP port on an AVPro Edge switch or compatible network device and presents a standard RJ45 copper interface for 1000Base-T operation. This allows integrators to use existing structured cabling plants with SFP-equipped equipment, avoiding the cost of fiber optic cabling where distances are within 100 meters. It is SFP MSA compliant and validated for use with AVPro Edge MXNet and compatible infrastructure.
